Liverpool theatre has a fantastically strong reputation, and Liverpool city region has plenty of top theatre performance spaces. The new Everyman is a reincarnation of the 400-seat theatre with its dynamic ‘thrust’ auditorium, including a rehearsal room, workshops, sound studio, Writers’ Room, and a special studio dedicated to Young Everyman Playhouse, education and community groups. Above the iconic red sign, the exterior features 105 portraits of people from across Merseyside forming a unique piece of public art in an exceptionally green and accessible building.

Playhouse Theatre
Built in 1866 as the Star Music Hall, in 1911 the Liverpool Playhouse housed one the first and later one of the longest running repertory companies in the country when it ended in 1999. The Playhouse’s acting roster was among the finest in the country

Liverpool Empire
The Liverpool Empire Theatre is situated on Lime Street, the busy gateway road to Liverpool. It's ideally located within metres of Lime Street Station. The Empire has the largest two-tier auditorium in Britain, seating 2348. Royal Court
The Royal Court provides a unique theatre experience for any visitor to Liverpool. Dining in your seat before the show, drinks at your table and some of the very best Liverpool talent performing in home produced plays. The Court produces eight shows a year with each one lasting four to six weeks.
