Tate Liverpool
Tate Liverpool is the home of the National Collection of Modern Art in the north. Tate Liverpool is one of the most visited galleries outside of London. The gallery stages a changing programme of special exhibitions throughout the year, which bring together artworks from all over the world. In recent years artists featured in Tate Liverpool’s special exhibitions have included Gustav Klimt, Pablo Picasso, René Magritte and Claude Monet. The gallery also offers large displays of work from the National Collection free of charge.

Walker Art Gallery
The Walker Art Gallery holds a stunning collection of paintings, sculpture and decorative arts spanning over six hundred years. Home to outstanding works by Rubens, Rembrandt, Poussin and Gainsborough, the Walker is also one of the finest art galleries in Europe. The Decorative Arts gallery contains over 500 pieces of ceramics, glass, pottery, fashion and furniture from the ancient world to the 20th century.

The Bluecoat
A Grade I listed, 300 year old building in the heart of Liverpool’s city centre, the Bluecoat offers a year-round programme of visual art, literature, music, dance and live art. In addition, the Bluecoat is home to a wide range of artists and creative businesses, ranging from jewellery and ceramic ware at the internationally recognised Display Centre, to hand-made accessories, boutique clothing and specialist hand-engraving and silversmith services.
